Family Rules {Printable & Desktop Wallpaper}

I’ve always been inspired by crisp, creative, colorful design…with a message!  It’s like a triple layered cake…with cream cheese frosting.

And chocolate shavings.

I’ve been mulling over the idea of ‘family rules’ for some time now and have been drooling over all the pallet-painted gorgeousness on Pinterest lately, in search of ‘the one’.  So when a precious friend sent me this link and asked whether I could recreate something similar for her wall, I was thrilled to bits, because with a few additions and some minor wording tweaks…it was perfect for our family {and our freshly painted kitchen wall!}.

Family Rules

And there she sits, in all her colorful {profoundly simple, simply profound} glory.

House Rules Bookmark

“Speak life” and “choose to be positive” are already a part of our daily verbiage, so it’s been funny to see our wee ones refer to “the rules” while attitude-checking each other.

I had such a great response to the few pics I posted through Instagram and Facebook during the design process that I decided to make it available to ya’ll!  And you have options to boot {whoot whoot…what girl doesn’t love options?}:

  • 8 x 10 Printable (PDF) – or try this link for the JPEG
  • Bookmark Printable {3/page} PDF – or JPEG link
  • I’ve already ordered six 12 x 24 prints {mounted on foam core board} through my favorite printer in Lansing for friends, family & beyond – if you live locally and would like to scoop one up for $25, FB message or email me at simplybloomdesign{at}gmail{dot}com.
  • Become a monthly supporter of Smile FM during their Fun Drive later this week…and score a limited edition mounted 11 x 14 print as a gift {they contacted me and asked if they could share it with their listeners…to which I replied, “heck yeah!”.  Or something considerably more refined.}
  • Or, you can simply enjoy it as your desktop wallpaper…

And with that, my friends, I’m off to help finalize details on the fabulously functional 2013 Chaos Simplified Women’s {Life} Planner {that many of you helped choose the cover for – thank you!} and prepare for the women’s event I’m yacking at this weekend.  I’m totally starting off with this story.  Because I’m just that sophisticated.

Pray for them.

Happy October!

We spend so much time waiting to feel ready... mor We spend so much time waiting to feel ready...
more confident, more equipped, more certain.
But God often asks a simpler question:
What’s already in your hand?

Small doesn’t mean insignificant.
And obedience doesn’t require certainty—just trust.
