I realize this post is painfully void of glitter and hearts, but I’m moving on, folks.
Sure, there’ll be beet-hued, heart-shaped pancakes in the morning, buried under a mound of ripe strawberries – because I’m not getting out of a valentine’s day brouhaha that easily – but I’m forging into full Spring mode, with or without the permission of the National Weather Bureau. Despite the gazillion inches of snow still cloaking the ground, I’ve shaved my legs, painted my toenails, and have been batting my eyelashes at my basket of flip-flops.
Just smile and nod.
So, I keep seeing these gorgeous Proverbs 31:25 printables on Pinterest, and decided it was high time I put one together…a sweet Springy one with a mendhi design worked into the background.
Partly because I’m absolutely obsessed with mendhi right now (and have a henna shoulder tattoo design brewing), and because I’m just desperate to type the word S-P-R-I-N-G, and to have colors other than white, brown or grey in my line of vision.
Or red and pink, for that matter.
Bring on Spring, sweet laughing ladies clothed in colorful shades of strength and dignity (boots and legwarmers not welcome at this party)…
