At The Well: Guest Post

So, friend, what’s on your mind?  Find out what ‘should’ be, right here.

Designs, Faith, Quotes and Scriptures

I Don’t Like Snakes

Really. I don’t. So, as you can imagine, when this tiny, harmless enormous, ferocious looking thing snuck up on me while weeding the other day, my heart almost stopped. It was like a scene straight out of Anaconda.  Only I don’t look like J.Lo in a bikini.  Or a wetsuit, for that matter. While pushing […]

The Motherload of Wellness Thoughts

{I shared some of my notes from Temple Care 101 almost a year ago, but having just spoken on this subject a couple of weeks ago reignited my passion, so I wanted to revisit it and make the handouts available to you too!}   While often discarded as Eastern mysticism, I firmly believe the concept […]

My Girls

To say I am surrounded by some of the most amazing women in the world, would be an understatement. Since becoming a mom, my girlfriends have become even more precious to my heart.  They have moved from simply being a blessing and delight in my life to being an enormous part of daily survival.   […]

Friendship

Mother’s Day Thoughts & May Desktop Wallpaper

I love being a mum! On most days, that is. One of the greatest gifts I’ve been given in life, is the example my own mother fleshed out. In her extravagant love for my father, her unconditional love for their 4 crazy girls, and her authentic love for her God. In thinking about this day, […]

Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce

There is no question: I loved being pregnant, and so enjoyed nursing my little ones.  The downside, however, is that they officially sucked my brains out. And I’m only sort of kidding. I combat this miserable truth by eating as much yummy fish as I can!  While salmon remains my fav, tilapia is considerably cheaper […]

At The Well: Guest Post

Ever find yourself biting your tongue, counting your breaths, as you fight the urge to spew, with full-force, the bubbling cauldron of frustration brewing just beneath the surface, as you stare your toddler…your husband… the culprit down? Yeah, me neither. {Ahem} Join us as we look at these wise words in Proverbs…At The Well.

Post Easter Check In

No, I’m not dead. Yes, I still love to blog. And thank you, my Easter was lovely. I’ve been trying to find my feet amongst the chaos of everyday life with little ones, while the madness of presentation preparation and egg stuffage threatened to swallow me whole. With colorful, plastic eggs back in their seasonal […]

Complete nonsense, Daily Life

Fabulous Hannah {the Photoshoot}

This morning I had my first un-official, non-loin-fruit photo shoot.   And it was a treat!  While the air was frigid, the diffused {read: cloudy} lighting and hair-tossing wind was perfect! Not to mention the subject. It’s amazing how looking at someone through the lens of a camera can change how you see them. What […]

to release control over what others think, say, or do.
But freedom deepens when we also learn to let Him,
to trust God with what we were never meant to carry.

We spend so much of life celebrating spring, the n We spend so much of life celebrating spring,
the new, the young, the beginning.

But autumn carries a glory of its own.

The turning leaves don’t apologize for their season.
They burn brighter because of it.

This is their Prime Time.

There is no expiration date on purpose.
No age limit on transformation.
No season where God stops inviting us deeper.

If there is breath in your lungs,
God is not done with you yet.

🎧 Hear more about my parents' Prime Time ministry,
inspired by the glory of the Autumn leaves, in episode 013 of

are not a winding down,
they are a rising up.

She chose courage when fear would have been easier.
Healing when hiding would have been safer.
Freedom when settling would have been quieter.

Some seasons ask more of us than we ever thought w Some seasons ask more of us than we ever thought we could give.

This week on Oh, Good Grief, my mom and I continue our conversation - this time about courage, caregiving, and walking through the wilderness of illness without losing hope.

We talk about my dad’s cancer, the sacred weight of loving someone through suffering, and the quiet strength that emerges when faith is no longer theoretical, it’s necessary.

There is a kind of courage that doesn’t look flashy.
It looks like staying. Trusting. Loving anyway.

someone refuse to stop growing.

My mom has spent her life pursuing freedom, truth,
and deeper intimacy with God - not perfectly, but faithfully.

She reminds me that formation doesn’t happen all at once.
It happens through ordinary days, unexpected detours,
and quiet obedience.

We don’t become who we’re meant to be overnight.
We become, slowly, as we trust Him with our story.

don’t just preach grace, they live it.

This week on Oh, Good Grief, I’m joined by my beautiful momma for Part 1 of a two-part conversation.

She has stood on stages, taught Scripture, and poured her life into others for decades - but more than anything, she has embodied a faith that keeps growing, keeps trusting, and keeps saying yes to God’s invitation into deeper freedom.

We talk about failure, formation, leaving home and finding it again,
and the quiet ways God builds a life across continents and decades.

Her story has shaped mine in more ways than I can count.

God delights in using the overlooked. The ordinary God delights in using the overlooked. The ordinary.
The ones who feel too fragile to carry anything valuable.

Pressed, but not crushed.
Perplexed, but not in despair.
Struck down, but not destroyed.

Because it has never been about the strength of the container.
It’s about the treasure inside.

God doesn’t wait for confidence.
He supplies presence.

Small. Simple. Not enough.

And Jesus multiplies it - enough to feed the masses.

God isn’t asking you to provide a banquet.
He’s asking you to bring what’s already in your hands.
