Ever since designing shirts for Union28 several years ago, I’ve wanted to create more.
I love the idea of fashion with a mission.
I haven’t stopped thinking about it. But the burden of having to order the correct sizes in colors that actually sell, not to mention the upfront cost of purchasing stock – enough to keep the price down – sucked every ounce of joy out of the dream.
Until Teespring.
I designed one. And then another. And another.
I was on fire, ya’ll. Tee designing fire.
But I didn’t just want to design tee-shirts. I wanted to create something that spoke to the heart of a woman. That whispered a message of hope to her soul, while shouting truth to her surroundings.
And then there’s that whole money thing. I wanted to DO something with it. Something bigger than me and my little dream.
So as each design developed, organizations and ministries ran through my mind. These would be tees worn by women, to support and celebrate the heart of women all around the world.
Now THAT is a dream worth wearing.
There’s a message here…printed onto this fabric…of
hope for the broken, strength for the weary, beauty for ashes.
And I’d love YOUR help to get the word out. In fact, I need it.
Teespring campaigns only run for a limited time. This is what makes this project doable…and affordable. But it required action. They only print the shirts once the minimum order quantity has been reached.
Most people don’t realize this, which is why I’m stepping out – being brave – and asking for your help.
