I love South Africa. With my whole, occasionally-homesick heart.
I also adore Namibia, because while most of my family still live in SA (and that’s where I was born), Namibia is the home we knew growing up. Where life in all its raw glory happened.
I also wildly heart the United States. Mostly Michigan (because it’s “home” now)…and California (because I could totally live there). And possibly Colorado. Because I need more sunshine and mountains in my life.
And Trader Joe’s. Which I could quite happily move into. Especially if worked into the aisles of HomeGoods.
But I digress.
I heart Southern Africa.
The people…the food…the scenery…the sounds and scents

So, with all this lekker talk of South Africa…the theme of this week’s printable is “favorite flavours of my homeland”. From rooibos and melktert to marmite and Mrs. Balls chutney…my palate is 100% S’Efrikan.
